Draft Horses for sale

The stallion is Pete. He is 15 yrs old give or take a year. He's trained for riding and driving. We've sat on him but that's it. Mostly he stands around being the lazy fella he is. He's the one I took the pictures of from behind.

The gelding with the stripe on his face is Val. He was born 2/14/08. His sire was a Percheron. Henry is no longer with us. He passed on just before Val was born at the age of 26. We sure do miss him. He was a one of a kind old man. Val's mom was a big, lanky Tennessee walker mare. He's pretty long legged himself right now. Though I think he'll grow into it. He's right at 16 hands. Big boned and nicely built.

Josh was sired by the same stallion on a fox trotter mare. He's the shorter, heavier built, all black gelding. A VERY sweet boy. He's a month younger than Val, born March 12 of the same year. He's much more "drafty" and would make a nice lightweight puller. Because of his build he looks shorter than Val but he's really not. He also naturally fox trots.

Naomi is their younger sister. She turned two in May of this year. Naomi was not supposed to happen. Her mama was a grade mare we had that got herself into the pasture with Henry and the other two mares. Naomi turned 2 in May. Her color is plain but her build is wonderful, and she's as sweet as the day is long. She's faded to more of a dark by this summer.

Val's mom is sorrel with a blaze face, Josh's mom is black. Unfortunately I could not find my pictures of her. I've included one taken when Josh was a couple of months old. Naomi's mom is a beauty of a bay. Henry was grey.

I also included a picture of Pete from a side view. He's the big black. He is all Percheron.

If you need anymore info just let me know. I'm asking $300 ea for the 2 yr olds. Not sure what to ask for Pete. I know that being a stallion is not in his favor. Still, he is a well behaved fella and trained for work even if he hasn't done it in years. I'll ask $500 and if someone likes him they can bargain.
